HOW TO PLAY
Start with a Serve
- Stand behind the back line.
- Hit the ball underhand so it goes over the net and lands in the opposite rectangle (diagonal to you).
Return the Ball
- The other team lets the ball bounce once, then hits it back.
- You must let the ball bounce once on your side before hitting it back. (This is called the Double Bounce Rule.)
Keep the Ball in Play
- Hit the ball back and forth over the net. It can’t bounce twice or go out of bounds.
Scoring
- You only score points when you're serving.
- Games are usually played to 11 points, but you must win by 2 points.
Stay Out of the "Kitchen"
- The "kitchen" is a no-volley zone near the net. You can’t hit the ball out of the air (volley) while standing in it.
How to Win
Score points by making the other team mess up, like:
- Hitting the ball out of bounds.
- Letting the ball bounce twice.
- Missing the ball.
That’s it! It’s easy to pick up, fun, and perfect for all ages!
