The City of Seabrook is still experiencing a moderate water shortage, however, we have moved out of the water supply failure stage. The City of Seabrook is now receiving a limited supply of water from the City of Pasadena which will help to supplement the city’s well water supply.
Water customers should continue conservation efforts and the waste of water remains prohibited, however, residents may relax their conservation efforts slightly. Residents may resume running dishwashers and washing machines in a limited capacity.
Please remember if you have a leak to keep the water to your home turned off until the leak is repaired. If your home was damaged due to a water leak, please complete the online Winter Storm Uri Damage Report.
The boil water notice remains in effect. The City of Seabrook will be testing the city’s water in accordance with TCEQ requirements and will submit water samples to the city’s contracted lab on Monday with hopes to have results by Tuesday. At that time, the City of Seabrook would propose to TCEQ to rescind the boil water advisory.
Thank you to everyone who has maintained strict water conservation efforts. We will continue to post updates as they are made available.
