Assistance & Donations for 77586

The City of Seabrook's official Donations Management organization in times of disaster is the Society of St. Stephen Outreach Ministry & Food Pantry (SOSS) which operates out of the Seabrook United Methodist Church. They will be opening a Relief Center at Seabrook United Methodist Church (3300 Lakeside Drive, Seabrook, 77586) on Tuesday, September 5th at 9:00 AM to serve the 77586 community; this includes Seabrook, El Lago, Taylor Lake Village, El Jardin and portions of Pasadena.

The Relief Center will offer financial assistance as they are able, as well as food and water. Many people, most on hourly pay checks, will have lost income and will have problems paying their necessary bills such as electricity, rent, car payments, etc. Families will be interviewed and assessed on their needs.

Volunteers Needed

The Relief Center will need volunteers to help with the center and a complete background check is required. The background check takes a few minutes and is free.

The center is requesting that volunteers arrive at Seabrook United Methodist Church on Tuesday, September 5th at 8:00 a.m. for instruction.

Donations Needed

The center will be accepting both monetary and goods donations.

Financial Donations

You can give your monetary donations online at Put the dollar amount you wish to donate in the Other box and put SOSS Hurricane Relief in the Description. Please make sure to do this. Your donation will go directly into the SOSS account and 100% of all donations go back to assist this community. They will also accept donations at the church in the form of check or cash.
