Meet us at the pier for a family-oriented morning of fishing! Participants must be within the grades of Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Rules
- This is a KID event and should be FUN!
- Adults my cast the line for the kids, however, the child MUST fish and reel in the catch by themselves
- This is a catch and release event. NO fish will be kept during the fishing tournament
- NO RUNNING on the pier
- Only fish off one side of the Pier (to be determined and announced on the day of the event)
- You can fish off of any portion on the “T” at the end of the pier
- Only one pole per child will be allowed on the pier
- Bring the catch to the measuring station located at the front of the pier
- The fish will be judged solely on length. (1st, 2nd, 3rd will be given to Boys and Girls
- Exotic fish will be judged separately with first place going to one Boy and one Girl
- Each kid can only win ONE prize. For example, the same kid cannot win 1st place AND Exotic
- A fish must be caught & on the way to measuring station when the final horn blows signaling the end of the tournament

This is a free community event.
Please bring your registration form with you to the pier on Saturday, September 18th. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 participants.
Parking spaces will fill up fast, overflow parking will be available in the Carothers Coastal Gardens parking lot and along Pine Gully Road.
